Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing expert nutrition advice and guidance to patients, promoting healthy eating habits, and developing personalized meal plans. Your role will be crucial in helping individuals achieve their health goals and improve their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine nutritional needs and develop appropriate dietary plans
- Provide health coaching and education on nutrition, including meal planning, portion control, and food choices
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition
- Provide guidance on tube feeding and manage patients requiring enteral nutrition support
- Utilize knowledge of physiology to assess patients' nutritional status and recommend appropriate interventions
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify nutritional deficiencies or disorders
- Document patient interactions, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of health coaching principles and techniques
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments and developing personalized meal plans
- Experience with tube feeding and enteral nutrition support
- In-depth understanding of human physiology and its relationship to nutrition
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations to identify nutritional deficiencies or disorders
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and healthcare professionals
- Detail-oriented with the ability to document patient interactions accurately
